The first web domain registered was in March 1985, and it was symbolics.com. It belonged to Symbolics Inc. enterprise, from Massachussets. The most curious fact is that the World Wide Web was not created until 1990.

The number of daily researches in Google is around 3 trillion. If we consider that there are more than 4 billion active users, the average is considerably higher. Around 100 daily researches for each person. Another fact in the same direction… between the 15 and 20 per cent of these researches is original, they have never been asked before.
The three more used languages in the Internet are, in this order: English, Chinese and Spanish.
Between the 85 and 90 per cent of the mails which are sent is spam, also known as junk email. The great majority is publicity and virus containers.
La Deep web is where you can find the content, not indexed by the traditional search engines. Usually, secret material, questionably legal, non-registered and/or dangerous. The content is this dark area of the Internet is 500 times bigger than the Internet surface (the one we normally use).
Although there are a lot of conspiracy theories, there is no one who has the full control of the Internet.
To conclude this article, a special curiosity… In 2010, the Internet was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
